A self-confessed word nerd, I've been obsessed with language for a long time. As a French major at Smith College in the States, I took a life-changing year of study abroad in Paris, my first experience living in a foreign language. (Well, second if you count my father's thick and sometimes baffling Irish accent).
I was born and raised in the U.S., but have lived in Amsterdam most of my adult life. Trilingual English-French-Dutch, I'm a flexible copywriter, editor and proofreader in both American and British English, and a capable translator of French or Dutch into English as well as English into French. Nice to meet you. Bienvenue sur mon portfolio. Gezellig.
